OPEN YOUR HEART CAMPAIGN - SANDTON SPCA
Dear Caring Members of Society, Our local Sandton SPCA needs OUR help!
The day-to-day running of the shelter requires a number of items, many of which are crucial to their ongoing assistance with animals in distress.
ESSENTIAL OPERATING SUPPLIES:
- Blankets and towels
- Dog and Cat Food (tinned or dry)
- Chlorine tablets for cleaning and disinfecting
- River sand for the catteries
- Food bowls, toys and collars
- Monthly water and electricity bills
- Infrared lamp bulbs for heaters in the catteries
- Paint for around the premises
- Ringing costs
- General office stationery
In addition to the above, the Sandton SPCA Mobile Clinic urgently requires operational costs to the value of R30 000 per month. At present, the Mobile Clinic does not have sufficient funds to go out on a daily basis to treat animals that cannot get to the shelter – including Bez Valley, Alexandra and Betrams.
